Paint type to go over etch primer and Jotun 87

As above chaps, what type of top coat would go best over either etch primer or J87?
Should I look at 1k, 2k, acrylic, epoxy?
Long time since I did any of this and the. We always used 2k acrylic as it was safe over the top of pretty much anything.

depends if you can spray 2k safely. if so its a no brainer. otherwise epoxy would be my choice.

Yep, I was looking at the non isocyanate 2k. I don’t have the facilities to filter air before it leaves the workshop and I guess discharging iso based into the atmosphere is undesirable.

i dont think atmosphere discharge is a issue. its personal safety that matters.

I have an air fed half mask which is what we used back in the 80’s before all the modern regs. I did believe that the exhaust from the spray building had to be filtered though, hence looking at the non iso hardeners.

by the time its left your garage its dry and well diluted
