paint runs

I had my transit painted last week with two pack paint, there are a couple of runs on it and i used these as a means to a price reduction.
Can i remove these runs and if so how?
Its diamond white by the way.

what i do is shave the run off with a sharp razor blade,then polish it up.
but you had better be talented.you can mess it up.

Depent on how big they are you can flat them out with 800-1200 grit with water and then polish, but be careful if they are still soft as this may cause it to tear and roll back, also don't do it to much in one place as you could break through.

Tiny sanding block or the edge of a piece of sandpaper followed by finer and finer paper and then polishing can reduce the thickness of the drip. Easy to rub through the paint beside the drip so you would need to be very careful. Should imagine the painter won't have wasted paint on a Transit so it'll be thin. Probably best to aim to have the drip less visible rather than completely gone.

Is there a technique with the razor blade? Could see myself getting that wrong.

Tecnique for razor blade is to wrap each end with a couple of layers of masking tape and carefully slice the run off, then flat and polish.
Or get a Run Razor

Nice technique, but I was always taught, if you get a run you get the sack!!!!! so have always tried extremely hard to get it right first time!!

Apart from which, I don't like to see polished runs, the area always looks too shiny!

As for the run on your transit, I would leave well alone if it were me, and possible make a water feature out of the run. No seriously you could be playing with fire if you've not got the right skills
