Paint recommendations for sleeper retaining wall RSJs.

Does not have to be pretty, just dead simple to apply with a brush, ie slap it on and run!
Thinking of 20 litre pots as anything smaller seems expensive pro rata.
I have approx 20 to 40 mtrs of 152x152 rsj to paint.

Any suppliers you can recommend would be great.
Loads of container/skip paint on ebay, but as always best deals seem to be up north and collection only.

use that farmers red paint it took me ages to grind the stuff off on that table i got

do you mean the red oxide paint that welders coat their steels with ? if so that`s pretty good.

As a little revenue stream years back, my then firm would have us change perfectly good, 1/2" BSW galvanised bolts on stuff for M12 stainless steel ones. The thing is the steel structure and BSW bolts holding it together were all slathered in black bitumen paint from new. Aside from getting mucky spanners the BSW bolts came out like the day they went in. I've still got sacks of them waiting for a use that we were supposed to scrap.
