Thats a great Idea, the addition of a polythene roof and a heater would make it just a bout perfect for this time of year
How do you know?@LandRoverTom Don't forget that unless you have a heated workspace, brushed enamel will take ages to dry [ask me how I know....]
How do you know?
How do you know?
Rust-Oleum products are very good.
Both rattle cans and brush.
Their blue is a close match to Record Blue as well.
TBH Brad, I didn't know there were different options. I've just checked my tin of red and its a gloss paint. Comes up ok, not too shiny. Oh and the layer of dust that normally forms on everything within about 15 minutes helps take the edge off it too!Are people using Gloss or Semi Gloss from Paragon?
it’s for the mill. I don’t want it too shiny!
I don't want to tell you how to suck eggs but don't forget to wash the floor down first .Here's my version of a spray tent, that I put up when I needed to lacqure a guitar I made, in the depths of winter.
I bought a 3 x 3 gazebo from Argos (£20) which didn't come with sides and used an open geotextile (Terram) for the sides held on with clothes pegs and clamps.
The Terram is open so it lets air in but not so open that it lets all the heat out.
So a blow heater to warm it up while I was getting ready to paint, a decent LED light panel hung from the roof and a fan on the outside to suck the fumes out while I was painting worked well.
The gazebo's are so crap that you need to treat them as a consumable but they are cheap enough.
I need to get another one but they are out of stock locally.
