Paint air sprayer advise

I have a paint sprayer I like using but don't use it to often. I noticed it seems to have poor flow when faned out. It is cleaned out after each use. Anyone any ideas what the issue could be?

has it always been like that.or have you tested at diffrent pressures and thicknesses of paint .i sometimes used to just do test sprays at different settings with water just on to a card board box to see if i got a new or different gun. when your happy transfer to paint

I'll try that. Used to work fine and with narrow fan still puts on paint fine but takes ages. The wider fan seems to apply less paint like a blockage or something. Air hole is fine

Is it a suction or gravity spraygun? If the fluid needle and fluid nozzle are clean then check the fluid needle gland make sure it’s sealing well. Some have a adjusting nut that can be used to compensate for wear

Suction. The gland seems tight when I remove the needle to clean.
