Paint accelerator ?

I seen this paint accelerator on a local paint suppliers website. I sit any use or a gimmick ?

think it does work , we used it a ford dealer when baking the paint

cant say for air drying - seem to recall it stinks something bad

I have used it before it worked unbelievably well if you need your paint off in a hurry. But it's no good if you want a quality finish.

It's ideal for things like painting an old dumper outside when it's going to rain in an hour.

you used it in a booth i would have thought it would cause problems fast activator would slow the flow down but i would have thought rocket would give a bad finish in a booth due to the speed it would be curing at

Rocket works great, does what it says on the tin but just worth noting if you are going to do any flatting and polishing, do it quick ie the next morning or the finish goes very hard like rock.

I might give it a whirl so, any of the 2k i have sprayed so far refuses to harden up fully.

you used it in a booth i would have thought it would cause problems fast activator would slow the flow down but i would have thought rocket would give a bad finish in a booth due to the speed it would be curing at

sprayed like normal but just gave quicker baking times if we was stuck for booth time

2k should go hard no bother , id consider changing supplier as it might be duff or stale

Starting to think the same thing myself. I'll dodge sherwin williams next time too.

In my opinion Rocket is a bodge, it can kill some of the shine, if you use the correct materials in the correct manner it's not needed. If you need it faster just use a fast hardener.
