We have an old Pacific press Break aprox 45 years old it has been a very reliable machine & we thought it could do with a birthday as the leveling tape broke.
Pacific is a US company so we Emailed head office without much hope of spares or reply, only to receive a very fast response saying they could supply the part we required but also saying here is the speck see if you can source it in UK to save cost\time.

Good Day Peter,
I do not have that Serial Number listed as it is part of a large series that was Licensed to another Company. This prevents me from looking into what width you need of Level Tape. The Level Tape is what we call the thin metal band that controls the Leveling System. It comes in three Imperial Measurement widths; 3/16th of an Inch, 3/8th of an inch, and 5/8th of an inch. I have it in Lengths of 25, 50, and 100 Ft. We definitely have the Material, just determine the Width you need and we can go from there.

It is really nice when a firm is so helpful, reply's fast, with an attitude of you are the customer how can we help, we have had this PB for 27 years it has seen a lot of use & abuse it was about 15 years old when we purchased it
