oxygen bottles and filling

Hello again . as ive said before im into diving and our dive club has got a 15
cfm bristol compresser which we use to fill diving cylinders every wensday
we fill the diving cylinders to 232 bar which are in test my question is could
it be possible to fill a oxygen bottle also in test to the correct fill presser
is welding oxygen the same as breathing oxygen which is 21% oxygen79%
nitregen im looking for advice for what im thinking about doing no safety

Your "breathing oxygen" sounds like it's just compressed air to me.Probably just useful for breathing underwater and inflating tyres...

Welding oxygen is 100% oxygen.

Proper oxy is virtually pure (not quite medical grade), so no.

Oceanobsession,
Pumping pure Oxygen can be very dangerous. Specialised pumps and lines are used, all have to be Oxygen cleaned.

Yes i am aware off this. but i dont have 100% oxygen anyway. i was only asking because if it was the same as breathing gas i would of had a go but now i have been educated that it has to be 100% i will not bother
