Oxford migmaker 200-1 single phase good price ?

Hello all I have 10% discount with ebay at the moment till end of month and mite as well take advantage and save a few pounds . I am looking at the oxford migmaker 200-1 the price is £669 with make me an offer so maybe £650 as an off - 10% = £585 ..

Should I take advantage of this offer ? welder is for car body work 1970 vw beetle and really could do with an upgrade as this welder can weld at 20amp.. ideal for thin body work and extra amps if I need them..Plus I do like the fact its made in England..

Or should I find a mig that can weld at lower amps for car body work ? maybe 15amp ?

Nice machine and one I would consider myself if I was in the market for a new mig.

My concern would be who you are buying it off, ebay is full of suppliers who once they have your money are very poor or non existent with after sales support, not saying the seller you are considering is the same but I would be wary.

Is the offer 10% off anything with no limit?

All the 'discounts' they give me are restricted to certain categories and limited to a max discount of like £20...

Ebay 10% is off anything I buy before end of month. As for the seller the company is called Tws direct ltd , welding suppliers direct ?

It comes with two year warranty..

Maybe I should email the seller .. On company website same welder is £622 all in ..still works out cheaper if I buy through ebay £585

I would phone the company up pointing out what you can get it for and would they match that offer, I would be surprised if they didn't and they would make more ££££'s for a direct sale to you.

They're my local supplier mate & I also do all their website work. real good guys that should sort you out. They are moving premises at the moment into a huge unit.
