Outdoor light

Hi folks looking a bit of advice, I'm installing an outdoor light at my front door and have two options as where to run the wire. The 1st option is to drill through the wall and feed the wire in that way or drill through my pvc door frame. Not sure on wich would be the best option, any information is appreciated.

just get it drilled through the wall as long as theirs no pipes or cables on the reverse side where you drill nuff said

if your handy with the drill u may find you dont have to drill so much between the door frame a masonary

I used one of the battery powered ones on the side of my garage from mr beams I think it is. Lasted a couple years before we replaced the garage... might save some effort.

Wall, drill downwards from the inside, so water doesn't run into the house. That way you can hide the wires, not leave them exposed.
