This MIG forum has been a really big help for me setting up myself for the welding side of my hobbies but you can't weld everything.

Does anyone know of a similar forum for turning and milling (I seem to be making a lot of scrap metal on my lathe at the moment)

For may lathe, I subscribed to the Yahoo group for Craftsman/Atlas lathes. Real good info there. They probably have a group for you lathe/mill.
