I love Opie Oils and use them for all my lubricant needs but the shipping costs to the Highlands always seems high and it's always excluded from the free delivery deals, even Inverness postcodes get hit with it which seems madness considering it's population. I won't single them out as the only ones as it's almost always the case with delivery costs.

I think Opie are ok if you are looking for something specific but even with the discount they are way more than I normally pay.

My V70 D5 shows 0W-30 on their website which always bumps the price. As my car doesn't generally do short runs I use 5W-30 and I can buy 20L of fully synthetic Chevron in Costco for £47 but for the cheapest oil Opie do it would be £60 for one oil change when I get 3-4 out of a 20L barrel.

Sure Chevron isn't top of the line but I change it every 5K and car is on 220K having run the same oil for 110K.
