Had one of those days.... New wesco regulator and bottle so all set to go. Stop start feed. Put it down to rusty wire (migs been sitting a while not being used). Managed to unwind enough of that to get the worst of the rusty stuff off. Then jammed the wire in the tip playing with power settings. No problem I thought, have a bag of spares. So I butchered it getting the old tip out and then found the spares were 0.8 rather than 0.6.
Well with the wrong tips managed to put down some of the best welds I've done. Weird, but just one of those days.
