One for Weldequip

I have a problem fitting a 5k reel to my Elandmig, the spool sits too far in to be tightened by the nut, is there a spacer or another adaptor available? Thanks.

weldequip probably has something but I find a piece of 2.25" of exhaust pipe cut to length works well.

Reel of 2 inch tape is good too. Bit of a dark photo but you can just about make it out.

I like the 2" tape bit, I didn't think of that. Doesn't the peg have to locate?

I looked round for bits of pipe and found nothing.

Not really - there should be more friction between the tape and the reel than between the plastic bit with the peg and the thing it's sliding on. Though with mine the reel tension is set seperately so I can just clamp the thing up tight.

I used the centre out of a reel of wire. does the job...
