Further to to my grind and polish in one step, the ideal rev's (2500-4500rpm)recommended on the disc is much lower than my angle grinder. The disc can be used up to 12,200rpm but obviously this is far from perfect,
My question is what if I buy a cheapie angle grinder, and is it possible to run a 240V machine from a 110V transformer, to reduce revs and if so will it damage anything, First consideration as always is safety. I realise the load factor will be lowered but only envisage the grinder being lightly used,
Cheers Gordon.
