so after much consideration I have realised I don't need a tig welder, I get maybe 1 or 2 jobs that demand tig, and have never had to turn a job down because of it except Ali jobs. So I'm back to thinking of inverter stick welders, with lift arc as I still have my 17 gas valve torch and about half a bottle.of argon left.
I loved my.parweld, smoothest stick welder I have used, however I have been looking at other machines with arc force controls. Is this worth looking into? What does it do? Afaik my parweld had anti stick and hot.start but cant remember seeing anything about arc force.
what is it? What does it do and do I need it? Never had a problem with the parweld so I cant see it being a must have feature
