Looking for Advice,The college where I did My Mig/Arc training last/this year has two courses running I would like to do but heres the rub they are both on the same night

So do I sign up for Tig on stainless steel or Tags on aluminum? I think I'll be able to pass both but I doubt the lecturer will let me as its only a 20 week course

I finished my Arc in 19 weeks Should have been 30 and my Mig in 16 weeks and Also beat the lecturer in a fun Tig off challenge on Alumimun butt weld in vertical So I'm not a doughnut

Which would you pick?

You have to look at which process you would gain most from, and how much it would be used in the future, if you actually weld for a living then can your new learned skill be incorporated into your job.

Can you increase your earning potential from your new skill, or if it is only for hobby use then it does not really matter, at the end of the day it comes down to which you would like to learn most, and also the type of equipment you have to hand. For what it is worth I would always go for learning Tig Al first, in my opinion it is not as easy to get to grips with competently as Tig steel is, hope this helps in some way.

I'm looking to get into welding for a living and I enjoy learning new skills work wise up here is slow so either of the skills would be a bonus
