I've got a J&S knurling tool and I can confirm that it's huge. I milled it so it would fit in my tool holder before I saw how much people list them on eBay forLike that one Brightspark linked to, you can't beat a J&S. Check on the size before bidding though. Some of their kit is bleedin' huge.![]()

was putting a groove in some 18mm bar.
down to 10mm and 4mm wide in total.
did one fine and was half way doing the second one and it broke
aww well, it came as part of a kit with the knurling tool.
been used a lot so not too worry...
so what parting tool to go for now.

Push type, with 3 different pairs of wheels to give different sizes of knurl.Push type or clamp? The push type is the work of the devil and should be melted down for scrap.
