Good day.
As some you know I am involved in something called Men In Shed. We are now at the point we have a surplus of old hand tools.
The plan is to sell then, exchange them for stuff we need.
But I have a problem, this is where I need your help.
I have a lot of tools needing new handles, chisels, screwdrivers and similar are simple. I turn up new handles on a lathe and use pipe to make the ferrell’s.
Saws and such, again I can get handle blanks.
Same with hacking knifes and garden knifes are the same.
The issue I have is obtaining Saw screws, handle rivets and such hardware. At a reasonable price.
I s there anyone who knows a place in the UK who I can contact to order some.
My local places know what I need, but as they are no longer a stock item getting a special order drives the price out of park.
