Old SIP Migmate super cutting out.

Hi guys, a friend of mine has given me an old push button sip Migmate super 120a and I'm having a few issues with it and would appreciate some advice please.

The other day I was using it and the wire stopped feeding, it wasn't jammed wire or anything as the rollers weren't even turning, I took out the motor, tested it on a battery and all was fine. Put it back together and worked ok.

Yesterday I was using it again for a couple if hours for maybe 10 minutes continuous welding and again it stopped feeding.

My question is Does it have some sort of cut out on it? I'm not sure what the duty cycle of the welder is.

Does this sound like an issue with the welder or is this normal?

Most welders have some sort of thermal overload, try leaving it (switched on) for 30 mins then try welding again.

Or get a desk top fan (before they go up in price, Hot Hot Hot weather!!) and point it at the grill/slits on side of machine but not at you cos you don't want your gas being blown away
