old raleigh cross frame bike

I have an old late 20's early 30's raleigh cross frame bike like the ones coppers had way back when.It's been sitting in the back of the shed for 30 odd years so to give my old Dad (an ex old school bike mechanic) something to get his teef into over the summer we pulled it out.
Although in reasonable condition a bit of fettling is required its never going to be a show piece but its still a nice old thing.
Now the first big stumbling block getting bits, does anyone know of any suppliers of these vintage parts i had a quick trawl but bits appear to be like hens teeth. Any suggestions greatly appreciated......Cheers
