Old parkinsons no.7 F

Someone else just pm'd me with this. They same model, but his has a 7 on it . Or a Z he says. Could be either

Nice n clean now. There were over 7 different layers of paint on this! Its been Green, red, orange, blue, black, white, beige. Stripped it back to baremetal in some bits and applied rustconverter and that made it look like a fresh coat of black paint. Regreasing it today, as I had to scrape off and soak this thing to remove the old clay like grease.

Very happy with how it is now. Finish feels really nice. Regreasing today and putting it back together.

Also, while taking this apart I found more the number 7 on several parts. I can only assume this was to match it with this vise ?
Also found this brand or name on the back of the teeth.

Yup. I'd assume it was to match parts during assembly and machining.
Still haven't checked mine. Too many bikes in the way of the door and if I open it the kids will be screaming to ride the etrials bikes.

Nice vice. A vice was my first bug project, still buy them and get as excited as the first time clean, repaint and sell them on. Good work so far just don’t go bonkers with the paint

Love making things useable again too. its a nice feeling and is rewarding.
