Hi all
I have invested in an air fed mask for spraying 2K since after spraying my kit car i have developed icyocyonate ashma and yes i was wearing a suposidle 2K rated mask however it was not air fed.....problem was it wasnt a proper seel round my nose. (dont make this mistake its not very plesant)
My question is.... i have a 2 compressors that both put out about 10CFM free air i would like to couple them together to make one supply for the mask and gun, however one of the compressors is brand new, (was going to use this for just the mask) and the other has been used in the room with the spraying so has had paint vapour pass through it, is it safe to now use this compressor to feed the mask?? the lines will have all the aproprate filters in them and the compressor will be placed outside but will nasties still be inside the compressor?? just trying to avoid having to use 2 air lines realy but if i have to i would rather tape two air lines together one for the mask and one for the gun than adgitate my symptoms any further.
Many thanks
Tilly
