Indeed the cheap prices of online stuff of any sort is nowerdays tempered by the unsure origin. However thats where the high street scores a big one. You can pick it up (and even take it apart if your cheeky like me)

I get really sick of people coming into the showroom and picking my brains, then asking if I can match internet prices. :full

Funnily enough that grinder was bought from one of Glasgows old fashioned tool stores...............Bills Tool store at The Barras.....I`m never out of there. He has a lot of old stock so I thought it would be an older item brand new in the box and therefore German.................must have been a recent delivery. 110 volt offered side by side at same price.

Bills --an alladins cave for tools and hardwear,great place with staff who know what you are talking about when you ask for something and its only about tens minutes drive from where I stay.
