I have been trying to find out the prices 9n these but can't find any on ebay there is one on the manufacturers Web site but no prices.

I can't see such a small read out being very precise though.

It's a comparator, probably for checking internal groove dimensions.

I think they call them comparative gauges.

It's a hard thing to price and sell though.

Be nice to know the difference between them and a bore gauge...apart from one reads a size and one reads plus and minus.

Yeh, I have one as well that I may move on one day but you dont see them for sale that often.

Your quite right no has bought it, yet. I have no idea if it is worth £130, that's why I agreed that sticking it on an auction and letting it go for whatever someone will pay for it is the best way. That's what I will do with mine if I decide to get rid of it.

As said it's a comparator, really for checking production work against a gauge or master. Limited utility for anything else.
