Hi, Considering the differences of surface finishes of the crankshaft bore and the gearbox shaft the bush needs to be stationary in the crankshaft. A comparatively rougher finished machining in the crankshaft as opposed to the ground and hardened surface on the gearbox shaft, I can't see it lasting long.

Its how they were all done.... never seen one fail before the clutch needed replacing

Freeze it into the crankshaft, would that work with oilite?

I think based off the information that @Agroshield provided I'll get some of the correct OD and ream / turn out the ID to suit.

Although may have potentially lunched 5th gear in the 110 on the way up to @8ob's today, not sure how but going past Port Talbot noticed a knocking that wasn't what I was listening to on the radio. Current thinking is perhaps I've lost a tooth on the gear. Got me thinking if it was a sign I should shove the 1UZ and auto box into the 110 which was the LR project after the 6x6 decisions decisions. Think I'd enjoy the petrol V8 in the 110 more and I think I know someone who could part with a 4BT. I've always felt a big diesel would suit the 6x6 more.

Iv got an slt 35 mazda the big turbo inter cooler engine

my 3.9 isn’t that bad on fuel as I expected to be honest 16mpg giving it beans on a straight through pipe with mostly town driving so no complaints my end
