.....it's later than I thought.
Been doing some 'gluing together' of the log splitter this morning, getting on fine. Came in for a brew and when I went back and started again the torch [i.e. the wire, not the shroud] was live.
Panic mode engaged with thoughts of PCBs, return to R-Tech for repair etc.. What to do?? I considered logging in here and seeking advice but then thought....go straight to the 'horse's mouth'. A quick call to R-Tech tech department and the guy suggested it could either be any of a few things but first to check the MIG/MMA switch hadn't been knocked over accidentally.
Back out and it had been, although I'd not been aware of being near it!!

Another tribute to how helpful R-Tech are to deal with.

Old age cometh not alone.....
