About a year ago I came across an auction on eBay for a Sand Rail chassis, it was being sold by a charity based I think in Southampton. They had designed the chassis and were auctioning off copies of the plans and complete/part built chassis with an idea that youth groups could build them. It seemed a good idea that took my interest at the time. It was based on the VW Beetle and from memory the Buy It Now price was around the £600 mark for a part built space frame chassis, plans and the building instructions.
