Hello,
The company I work for has purchased an Oerlikon Citoarc Tac 173 Tig welder for a good price however it's come with no manual and has the capability of plugging into 240V however we're not entirely sure we can plug this directly into our 3-phase ring-main. There's a busbar inside the welder with the option to switch to 3-phase and I've had my electrician look at the welder to see if he can work it out but he's not confident enough to plug it directly into our 3-phase and give it a go. Can anyone advise me on if switching the busbar over to 3-phase is enough and we can use the 240 lead already installed or do we need to install to a 3-phase lead into the welder?
Thanks for your time.
Ross.
