It's very adjustable, so pretty much whatever you like! I've got a similar one hanging up in the garage

the one for side valves usually has a deeper throat......
or the modern vesion is a scissor action....

I have the same Longbro one, used it on Honda motorbikes is the past, quite nice as infinitely adjustable. It sits with four different Sykes Pickavant compressors and two more Snap On ones I have accumulated over the years, I tried to get rid of some but they are all slightly different so all may one day ”come in handy”

Yes bit of a clean up and it's got 500/4 stamped on it.
