Ah man, they are like hens teeth! I tried to get some and they were expensive then. I need some RCBO's of that flavour for a village hall but I bought all wilrose elec ones already for another job!

No worries, yes different to an MCB unfortunately!

Yeah I don't want to touch it but it has several C2 issues some of which can be resolved by putting in RCBO's. Would be a complete pain to do that as well as the neutral bars are invisible!
I can't believe someone could walk away from that and think it's acceptable. It was installed in 2004 and was like that from New, including some lovely scorch marks and missing bus bars!!

My guess is it was energized and being worked on and a wire (probably an earth) has caught across the phases and gone bang!
I would imagine from the scortch marks that it was a big bang too as they travel up some way. I bet whoever did it absolutely sh++t themselves!!

It's been poorly installed, if the cables were dressed in properly it wouldn't be that overcrowded.Most of the ways are blanked off and it's already stuffed full of cables
I did a 36way board a couple of months ago and while it wasn't the neatest it was what I had to work with. Main thing I would do next time is cut down all the neutral flying leads and ferrule the ends!
It's actually easter to do it neatly than leave that mess!
Anyhoo here is a picture of the one I did for comparison! I can take criticism and advice

Are the earth bars commoned together by being screwed onto the painted case?

Don't forget you have to find the neutral bar cover on top after you have screwed the cover on
