Right, so I have a pc that I somehow managed to corrupt the existing windows 7 install on and could not log in.
I have taken the old hdd out and popped a new ssd in.
I deployed a nlite install of xp onto it and it works fine but I can't find xp drivers for the touchscreen (which I need) plus a few other things I can't find xp drivers for but nothing I really need.
So, as I need the touchscreen.. I have retrieved the product key from the original hdd and am currently downloading a iso of win7pro from Microsoft.
I have never done an ntlite install of win7 before, will it be enough just to copy the contents of the drivers folder from the old hdd into it for my boot image?
Or, once windows is installed can I copy/paste the drivers folders over to the new drive and expect it to all work from there?
