thinking of going to nrm at york anyone know what parking is like?

Pretty good from memory though I just used one of the local off street car parks and walked a few hundered yeads as other half was going shopping.

Good parking near by, cheepish as well.
If you are taking small humans there is a very good model railway as well.
Get there early to beat the tourist. That way the duty staff are very helpful and will answer your questions.
Last time we went by train and it turned into a long week end.

IIRC the official carpark is the most expensive.

I went by train, just a short walk from the station.

theres a massive car park over the road from it. a fiver a day i think from memory theres allways spaces available u can also get the choochoo road traiin in to the city for a quid every half hour

Yes big car park over the road. Museum now free so they charge quite a lot for parking.

If you are going to York, a good tip is to use the Travelodge at Tadcaster. It's cheaper than York TL and a short drive from Macarthur Glen outlet where you can get the park and ride bus into the centre.
