Can anyone suggest a UK source of 5kg reels of NR211-MP, or a similar wire from a european manufacturer (Esab perhaps?)

Thats solid..............MR211 is gasless self shielded

you should get a good discount off that

and 1.1mm self shielded is similar to 0.8mm solid in terms of deposition......should penetrate better
