NPS & BSP threads

i'm looking at buying a spray gun. just a cheap one to learn the basics with.
the one i'm looking at has a 1/4" NPS air inlet. i can only seem to find 1/4" BSP airline connectors are there adaptors available or will the bsp fit to the nps?

You can get adaptors, most pneumatic component suppliers will have them,

npt and nps are the same thread angle shape and pitch npt are tapered thread and nps is strait thread so a brass tail of one or the other will both fit the gun

That's the thread Devilbiss/Binks use, so everyone should stock adapters.

1/4 bspt is pretty much the same pitch as 1/4 npt and will fit either, they do start to differ the larger the thread. I your not happy to use a bsp then any local hose and fittings counter will stock the adaptors needed
