Hey guys, *total* FNG here and I'm in need of a little help to get started. I inhereted a couple of my grandfather's old machines and am trying to get them back up and running so I can start learning to operate them. One thing I'm not clear on: are MIG nozzles uninersal or brand specific?
The machine I'm trying to square away is an old Century 160 from 1992. My understanding is Lincoln bought Century back in '03, ergo, this sub-forum. But the nozzle on this old guyis completely ruined and needs replaced. Can someone point me at a nozzle that will be compatible? Or tell me what to look for when trying to determine if a nozzle I see for sale online will fit?
Thank you!
Ayb
