Now ocd in my screw boxes any one else have this problem

I hate having boxes of screws with out of place different size screws in the box but I have a section that has mixed screws and has gotten me out if a fix only needed a few screws and in the mixed section I found a few so do I separate them all or leave as is

It niggles me but I thinking I have to put up with it as helped me out meny a time

I use pretty much only SPAX screws and I empty them into their own compartment, cut off the cardboard label and place it in the compartment so I know what they are - and what to buy next time. Admittedly I don't have quite the selection you do!

Took me 3 years to sort the mess my screw boxes had become out.

Mixed screws only bug me when you pull the wrong size out don't notice and blow through a panel.

I always have a SWAH* box for odd screws/fixings and another one for odd bits of metal. Helps keep stuff tidy if everything has a place so the SWAH box is for stuff that doesn't.

The time i save on looking for fixings is amazing, My mate can sometimes spend 20 minutes looking for fixings to do a 5 minute job.

I've been known to crop the ends off screws with bolt cutter in dire need of a shorter screw.

this was done today this was got me thinking on my screws box saved me as I did not have enough rawplugs and a few different screws

And at the end of the day we where having a chat about xyz showed me a photo of him at school I pulled it down to have a look i put it back up straight
