Hi All,
I'm back - stop groaning at the back there. I think it's been somewhere like 5 years since I've been on here for more than a glance but hopefully life has stopped getting in the way quite so much and I'll be a regular again. I'm still seeing some of the old hands in the new posts but no doubt there are lots of new names and regulars too so I'll hopefully speak to some of you soon.
We lost our storage unit so most of my Ford stuff has gone including the Focos (Focus with a Sierra floorpan and Cosworth engine). I've still got my GTM Coupe (Mini based kit-car) and the Nissan Micra CG13 engine is in and running.
I'm about to get my cousins Mini back for some bodywork - about 15 years ago his girlfriend and I did a sort of Car SOS type of thing where he thought he'd sold it (as a non-running project needing more work than he was capable of) and it re-appeared as his wedding car. It's been living outside since and not been looked after the best in recent years (his life got in the way too) so it's done what old British cars do best so it now needs some TLC. Personally I'm happy if it only needs work every 15 years and I'll take it as a bit of a credit to my work back then that it's lasted 15 years.
Speak soon!!
