Hi all,
Ive been trying to weld things at 90 degree angles without much success
Trouble is i just don't have enough hands to hold everything.
For example, I've just been trying to construct some trestles out of scaffolding and c section. I need the trestles because i dont have a level floor (quite the opposite).
When i came to construct and weld the trestles, i couldn't get them very straight as i seemed to need 3 hands! One to hold the round tube leg (which has already got a heavy square bar welded to it), another hand to hold a square to allow me to get the correct angle, and a third hand to hold the mig torch!
Also i seem to have difficulty aligning things with my welding gloves on, and on top of all this, i have to do it all whilst
peering through my auto darkening mask.
Can anyone shed any light on this one for me as im starting to think ill never be able to weld anything properly!
Many Thanks,
Chris.
