He told me how much he exports (second hand presses)to the states and the turnover and said it’s a good proposition
He went quiet when I said that you might be able to get a grand for a used press you gave scrap for but when that new press cost two grand to make it’s not happening that’s why the the foundry with its own machine shop couldn’t make it work.
He then said about India . Again if Indians want flypresses they won’t pay £100k for nostalgia they’re just make a pattern and start making them
But he’s a good chap so I hope some daft yank buys it
