Anyone on here competing, being a marshal or service crew or fancy coming to spectate?

Im going as service crew for a mate with a mini. Ive got the feeling that its going to be two very long days. its a multi venue event so loads to see for everyone and the rally village at the HQ looks good.

This is the mini im going to look after.

Its a 1330, High lift cam, webber carb, performance clutch (from a metro turbo I think), Electric dizzy. Its been on the rolling road last week and just waiting on the figures from the driver. Its running in class A. It was originally a hill climbing car so its not quite tuned for rallying and that is something we are working on.

Cheers rtbcomp, I hope it stays dry but with the stages being at the sea side its going to be damn cold.

After 20+ years providing Rescue or Recovery in all weathers I prefer to watch it on the TV now best of luck for the event

Watching it on TV is comfy but it is no where near the real excitement of being there and no matter how good your surround sound system is it cant come near to the real sound of the Mk2 escorts.
