Hi
When spraying high build celly, I have to wind the fluid control valve out 6 turns before the gun delivers a reasonable amount of paint. Even then I have to move the gun very slowly to get coverage.
All the youtube vids I've watched, the guns seem to deliver way more paint. The gun spec sheet says it can deliver 200ml/minute, but it took me ages to use up the 250ml paint I mixed tonight.
I'm using an Iwata AZ3 HTE2 with 1.8mm tip. The gun is clean and there are no blockages. The inlet regulator at the gun is set to 40psi with the trigger half squeezed. I'm spraying uUpol P88 primer, and I've added 10% thinners.
Most info I found on www says to open fluid control valve 2-3 turns. Does this vary much gun-to-gun?
I've found conflicting advice on www about whether to thin the primer or spray it straight out of the tin.
