Hey all I have just bought a clarke 190t from a friend, I got it cheap because the wire feed motor does it work. How is beat to test if it is a motor or control unit that is broken? has anyone had similar issues with 1? I'm struggling to find info on them online

welcome to the forum, its usually the small circuit board the fails, but will it arc up when the trigger is pulled that is your first check, if so the motor can be tested with a 12v supply

Rember to disconnect at least one of the wire from the motor to stop you feeding 12 v back to the pcb!!
