Right, Ive been twisting arms, and can get 80/20 supplied RENT FREE...
£80 first one (for the cylinder I guess)
£50 exchange (refill)

Is this a decent price ?

Described as "about pub" sized, but obvioulsy NOT filled CO2 bottles, as the fitting in "argon"...
Happy to be a "go between" if anyone local wants one...

Happy to do so... if I can establish the price is "fair" ! This is a "favour" job... so cant offer as a business, he doesnt mind small numbers though.

Wouldn't know about the price, I'm still on CO2 at about £20 exchange for a pub sized BOC bottle.

Refill price appears rather high IMO.

With respect though, if someone is offering a service which is a favour but isn't really part of their business you have to ask yourself; 1) Is it legal, safe and good quality gas? 2) What happens to your cylinder if they simply decide not to offer the service later on?

It IS a pukka gas company, so theres zero risk, and as I say - not welding that much, im in the same boat with old CO2 cylinders..... the one I'm using now is about 4 years old !
