I've used gasless wire on my Cosmo 130 (sip) because it came with a roll of it so I thought I'd try it. I do a lot of stick welding at work which some people think can be a bit awkward because of the fumes from the flux but this this stuff was in a league of its own, it was like welding in fog with an opaque visor. As long as you can change the torch polarity you'll be able to do it but unless you're welding outside I personally wouldn't bother, its also a bit hot for thin steel.
