Nissan PS13

Here goes my first ever project and I think ive gone in a bit deep

Brought a PS13 shell so that hopefully next year I can I can swap all my setup from my current car onto it and have my ideal yet different car

So the car was picked up sunday and dupmed in the compund at work. Pics have been taken of all I need to sort out bodywork wise (its alot).

Before you look at the pics below bear in mind that ive never touched filler or bodywork and dont yet own a welder and have not welded anything even a quarter decently before. Im currently thinking what the have I let myself in for !

Basically is a import version on the UK 200SX (S13).

Different engines, specs, fancy stuff etc but same chassis.

Im hoping to sort it all out and then swap all my current car into that shell. And before you ask why I dont know but I just like trying new things while im young

Duuuude, that looks pretty bad.

You got the wings/lights/front bumper/bonnet etc... as they're not cheap for PS13's...

Its not having the PS13 going back on it - its going Onevia (aka normal S13 front end on it) as im after something a bit different.

Lol, dude, don't worry about it, I've got a UK RS13, so that's had 14 years of british winters.

So I know first hand what it's like.

Just looks alot of work, even though since it's stripped down, it'll be alot easier than mine for example to get stuff off it to weld other things etc...

Ps, and the reason for asking if you had everything was to offer you a swap for my S13 front end, haha.

Ive already got a UK S13 too so will have the front and most of the rest from that too but it needs to stay on the road at the moment !

Oohh goodie, more Jap metal. I`ve always prefered the Jap spec front end personally and woundn`t mind a Sileighty. For now i`ll just have to make do with RB power and 4wd though "sighs"

Im Ikram btw on sxoc. I assume most of the S13 lads are on here as well. Ive been checking your progress and i think my S13 is around the same 'rotteness' as yours (probably a little more )

Back and underneath of seats seem ok

Slight bit here and looks surfacey to me

Floorpans aint too bad either but where they join the sills im not too sure yet

It seems at some point both the sills have had something done to them but dont know what - it just dont look right

Yo dude, that bit to the right of the seat mount is covering up a rubber plug, mine was rusty underneeth there, so it might be worth having a closer look, have a poke underneeth around it and check.

Are you taking out all the sound deaddening?

Yea sound deadening will be coming out for weight saving and so I know whats underneath - what joy that will be (again ) !

Ill be working out what ill do with bits like that when I know how good I am at welding

When I do finally start doing it I think the strut tops look the easiest so will start them first
