Nimh batteries

ok so I need a few Milwaukee batteries the older type PBS3000 series a couple of18 volt ands couple 14.4 volt
Any one bought any off the bay the cheaper replacement ones I mean ? Or is it easy enough to change the cells ? I just want a easy life tho really

I bought some 'golden dragon' batteries for my Makita drill from ebay, two years ago now, if they chuck their hand in tomorrow I'll feel they were worth it - 7 quid for two delivered.

Now I wouldnt buy Lithium batteries from anywhere but a reputable maker.....

I bought compatible lithium ions...they're fine,
I use a genuine charger though

Not to hijack the thread as the op doesnt ask about Lithium batts but Its not the charger its the lack of protection in the (copied) battery pack itself, dont charge them anywhere you care about and dont let them get on fire

Ive got 3 blue bosch one 24 and two 14V.........all the batteries started to fail about the same time

I bought a 14,4 bosch for over 70 quid and a cheap un-named ebay one......the cheap one has been fine for about a year now (still is going strong) same as the Bosch

The 18 volt ones were originally lithium ion but to be honest were crap and lasted justo era year , Milwaukee then went to a different design of lithium ion . I had the nimh ones already and have been fine but I've not been kind to them and left them discharged for many months and won't hold the charge now . There are a few on e bay £25or so so might get one overa to see how they fare . Thanks for the link mr fuzzy will sort something

Nimh batteries are not really suited for cordless tools, nicads are much better and li-ion are the best.

see if they can recell your batteries..
