Anyone have a D850 who could clear up how to set a custom white balance please?
It seems like there might have been a firmware update since the manual was printed and I’m not seeing what the manual suggests.
On my older D750 the process was a bit different due to location of controls but what the manual says is to turn on live view, hold the WB button and move the rear thumb wheel until SEL is displayed. I never get this, only the presets.
After this I would slot the white card into view for the camera to capture what white looks like in the situation I’m in. But since I don’t get this far it’s a bit of a struggle.
Any ideas please?
