I got into work today, one of my paraglider friends warned me that he posted me something.
he is a guy I respect a lot, another 'character'. I figured something he had made himself.
I found this. About 60mm on a side.
What an amazing thing to make for a mate.
I was quite overcome by it.

he is a great bloke, lots of folk dont like him because he is blunt to out it mildly.

Grumpy so and so. A legend in the paragliding world.
Phoned me up post accident to see how I was doing and give me a pep talk, it was like being called by Moses.
I called him back a few weeks later. 'oh it's you **** of I'm busy relaxing'.
Also he is only rude on purpose, I respect that.

I shall rephrase then a 4 jaw chuck or some tube with the right inside dia

Use a piece of tubing to hold the square stock in a 3 jaw chuck. Ingenious.
