Hi,I have just been given a Nibbler attachement and it recommends the use of a cutting/Cooling oil.Which sort of oil should I look for or would any good oil be ok?.
Thanks Dave.
Basically Dave very thin oil. I have used air tool oil in the past with my nibbler with no problems, car engine type oil is to thick and sticky and will slow the nibbler down
I just squirt the cut line with WD40 or similar or run a bead of 3-in-1 along it and my cutter has been fine. It's essential on aluminium as it is more abrasive than steel and I do tend to use a thicker oil on it and it also helps to catch and hold the toenail clippings.
